Hotel Suizo

Great location - we were able to walk to everything in the Gothic quarter as well as the beach. Rooms are clean, front desk was excellent and the hotel was quiet - only 20 minutes from the airport. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Hotel Suizo on 7/8 for one night before going on a cruise and again for one night on 7/16 when we got off the cruise. The staff was friendly and amazing! We had room 201 both times which was a spacious room for our family of 3, however, the bathrooms are in need of repair and didn't feel clean. The hallways are hot and have a mildew/mold smell. The AC barely works and the room temperature was uncomfortable. The TV didn't work and the walls are so thing and we didn't get much sleep because you can hear all the loud noise outside until 4am. The hotel was in a great location, but the facilities are in need of an urgent makeover. Also there was graffiti next to the main entrance that said "F*ck Israel". It was there on 7/8 and still there on 7/16. Very disgusted that the hotel would not remove that immediately. Definitely find a better place if you're looking in this area.

I spent 4 days with my mother recently and this hotel is a little jewel in the center of Barcelona. It is true that the wallpaper in the room was peeling a little, but apart from that the hotel was well managed and the rich breakfast was a dream!
