RENAISSANCE BARCELONA FIRA

We stayed at Renaissance Barcelona Fira for 11 nights, 3rd August - 14th August, and can’t fault a single thing! This was our second time in Barcelona this year but first at this hotel, and we have definitely found our go-to hotel when in Barcelona and won’t stay anywhere else moving forward! We arrived early on 3rd and were able to store our luggage until check-in time at 3pm. We have to mention David on Reception who checked us in - he was fantastic! We were originally allocated to the 3rd floor but had requested a higher floor - without us asking David acknowledged how long we were staying for (and I assume saw the note on booking) and said he would look for a higher floor. We ended up in a superior room on the 21st floor which was perfect! The room was spotlessly clean, very spacious (perfect for our length of stay) and whenever we requested the room to be refreshed throughout our stay, housekeeping had been by the time we came back from our day out and was completed to a very high standard. We spent a good few afternoons/evenings by the rooftop pool - the view, cocktails and service were fantastic! Again, we much mention Kevin Jah, who made the best Mojitios! The hotel is located a little way out of the centre of Barcelona however we don’t mind that - L’Hospitalet is our preferred area to stay in Barcelona. Quieter evenings, lovely local cafes/bars and Gran Via shopping centre over the road. You can reach the centre of Barcelona within about 30 mins by metro or bus. We chose to walk about 15/20 minutes to the L1 Metro Line (only that long of a walk as the closest L1 stations were closed for renovations so walked to Plaça De Sants) which takes you right into the centre however, there is another line directly in front of the hotel but to my memory requires a change of line at Espanya station. However all in all very easy to navigate and the Front Desk Team were always so helpful with directions when we asked! Honestly we can’t say enough great things about this hotel, service etc. We can’t wait to come back! (P.S my partner even proposed late one evening on the 21st floor balcony looking over the mountains so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts)

Special thanks to Hotel Manager Jordi Jimenez and, Front Office Manager, Enric Coll for making my wife’s birthday so memorable through their warmth, professionalism, and personal attention. From the very beginning, they ensured everything was perfectly arranged, and their thoughtful gestures throughout our stay made us feel genuinely valued and warmly welcomed. We are also sincerely grateful to Alejandro and Alex from Concierge, who consistently went above and beyond with their assistance, providing excellent recommendations, seamless support, and always greeting us with genuine enthusiasm and a welcoming smile. Karina and the breakfast team deserve special recognition for their consistently attentive service each morning, creating a warm and inviting start to the day with great care, efficiency, and an impressive ability to anticipate our needs. Valentina at Oasis Bar also delivered truly exceptional service, combining professionalism with a friendly and engaging approach that made every visit a genuine pleasure. Every team member contributed to an atmosphere of authentic hospitality, where service felt both personal and effortless. We highly recommend the hotel and very much look forward to returning in the future.

Third time we have visit this hotel and it delivers every time. The breakfast is 2nd to none and the unique design of the hotel and ensures have a fabulous stay. To get into the centre, you need to take two trams which are easy to do with five minute walk to the train station.
