In theory they have a schedule until 4pm but leave early and do not warn of the type of lock on your reservation
You have to use your personal phone to enter, something that should not be an obligation but an option..Nor did it work... opened us a neighbor....
Yes, I misspoke.... they stood me up, there was no one to check in and an hour before they told me about the door... something I did not accept, they never informed us of this... It's data and your personal phone... and it's not something you decided...
I never have to use any personal belongings to enter a room of a reservation and less without warning of any of this....no refund possible if you cancel... everything thought so that if or if you use your mobile....
We were cancelled with our belongings inside the room and had to call 👮♂️ at 2 am....
We didn't want them to profit. They wanted us to cancel so we wouldn't pay the money back. Luckily they cancelled and had to refund us.
They didn’t call us or warn us, they canceled with our bags, money and documents inside...
We managed to talk to the emergency number so that they opened the door to get our things... they opened the guests upstairs since you can no longer access... they the room...
They force you to pay for an external booking link and log in with your Chrome profile.... the girl told me not to uninstall the app I preferred to use to my profile... it was one or the other... if you don't log in. They give you a number to get into the room. Just upstairs. Down with your mobile...... and then you can take a key that you will be left upstairs but first you will use your mobile no matter what.... only once you have entered with your personal mobile you will have a key and only for the door downstairs...
They told us that if we didn't want to use our cell phone we would stay out and that no one would come to open...
They had the telephone cord hanging up and not connected....even though there was no one to check in...if we found the cleaner....who never hears the telephone...because it is disconnected, normal....you won't have any help no matter if you find it or not...And it wasn't the person who was supposed to be for check in at the office.....who went home much earlier than he should...without warning us....it was a coincidence that the cleaner was....she went home at the time she wanted despite being there before 2 as we had warned....
Good thing booking if it complies and even refund the difference of the new hotel and you have no problem with them.
If you want a reliable holiday this is not your place.
If you have a flight you can miss it... they keep your things without warning...

I’ve stayed at BCN several times and would have formerly rated it 4 stars due to the value. The price has increased 10x since the last time I made a reservation just a few years ago and I can no longer recommend it as there are many options within the higher price range that offer more amenities and more central location.

Pros:
1.cheap place to stay if you do not want to spend much
2.near to metro
3......nothing else really. maybe fridge.
Cons:
1.the most uncomfortable bed and pillows ever
2.on the second night I heard some people shouting in the other room, I let them know and they were sorry but they did not do anything about it and shouting went on for two days
3.bathroom needs renovating
In summary, If you are really out of money, yeah it is a place. If you can pay 10 euros more, go get a decent place at least.
