Hostal Grau Barcelona

Second time we have stayed here. Good location, blocks from Plaza Cataluña, the Rambla, Paseo de Gracia, and the Metro. The room is very functional, comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a welcome kit. The WiFi is good. The breakfast is very good, complete, and fresh. Filtered water and coffee always available as a courtesy.

Exceptionally convenient and quiet location just a couple block off of Las Ramblas. Appears to be a remodeled old apartment building with old school keyed entry/ leave your key at the desk system (which while less convenient was an intrinsic security system). Lovely rooftop deck that we used several times. WiFi is present throughout the facility, but was really only functional in the common areas downstairs and on the roof, in the room it dropped continually and was very slow (you should jot rely on it if you need to work remotely). Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cleanliness was B-. Good value for the money.

A small historical hotel very clean. Excellent location and super friendly crew.
