Hotel Primero Primera

A three-star hotel experience at best. The bathrobes had holes the size of coffee cups, and the chef was unable to cook a steak to medium — first it arrived well done, then raw, and then raw again. Unfortunately, the kitchen did not handle the situation professionally, as my wife’s plate was not taken back and served together with my corrected dish, meaning we were unable to enjoy our dinner at the same time. While working in the lounge during the day, the chair I was sitting on suddenly broke beneath me — and no, I’m not overweight. It was clear that the chair had been repaired previously, which likely explains why it collapsed. To make matters worse, construction workers were making noise from late morning until the afternoon, which significantly affected the overall stay. That said, the staff were both friendly and professional throughout our stay, which is ultimately what brings the overall rating up to three stars.

Excellent and attentive staff, ideal location and exceptional breakfast

It's a 5-star hotel, but honestly it doesn't look like it. The room, though beautiful and great value, had details that a hotel of this category should not allow: peeling paint behind the bathroom door and small oversights that are not expected in a five-star. The price is very high for what it offers. Breakfasts do not correspond to a five-star Service: small space, very tight and with little variety. We arrived at 10:30 p.m. to order dinner and at first we were told it was not possible because the kitchen was closing right at that time. After insisting and waiting 15 minutes, we were served a bread with tomato and ham, all we wanted, something that clearly does not reflect the level of Service expected in a hotel in this category. The place is privileged and the location excellent, but I will not return due to the difference between the price and the actual experience. Service lacks professionalism to solve problems and offer solutions, something basic in a five-star hotel
