Moderno Hotel

Do not visit this hotel! The most unprofessional attitude I have ever encountered from the owners and staff! They don't deserve a single cent.

I booked this hotel because it offered a great price despite being a three-star hotel, and it was right on the Rambla and 20 meters from the metro station. Our triple room was very spacious and the cleanliness was standard. The very kind staff gave us many tips for getting around the city. The breakfast really impressed me because for a three-star hotel it was very abundant and the products were all very good (the potato tortilla and the muffins are a must-try).

Stay of 3 nights at this simple and unfortunately poorly managed establishment. Upon our arrival, we pointed out that there were ants in the room despite it having just been cleaned and prepared, but the person at the reception was alone and showed up after a few hours to clean, and did so with a frustrated demeanor. On another day, due to issues with the laundry, we were not provided with towels, and upon our request, we were given 1 towel for 3 people. A positive point is the very convenient location near La Rambla and the Liceu metro station, just a short walk from the La Boqueria market. I cannot evaluate the dining services as I only utilized the overnight stay. I believe greater attention to the customer and care for the hotel is necessary. Overall, it is useful as a base for exploring the city.
