Beautiful hotel, very aesthetically pleasing and very friendly staff members who are willing to help. My husband and I were celebrating a four night mini moon and we were upgraded, and received a gift on arrival which was a lovely touch. You cannot fault the location of the hotel. It is within walking distance to the famous area El Born, where you will find lots of vibrant restaurants and bars. The only downside to this hotel is that the pool area is not very big at all and there are no sun lounges for sun bath. There are small pool sofas but you are unable to lie flat and so if sunbathing is your thing, then I would recommend booking a hotel that has a large sun as well. As it is very hot in Barcelona, we found ourselves exploring the city either early in the morning or later in the afternoon and so for the peaks on ours between 11 - 4, we really wanted to be able to relax in the sun and had to pay extra to visit beach clubs or rent sun loungers on the beach which is an added cost, Overall, would visit again but not if you’re looking for any sun downtime.

This hotel is such an experience from the first time you visit. Rooms, views from the pool, breakfast all is amazing, but what truly sets this hotel in the top hotels to stay in Barcelona is their staff. They are nice, always on top of everything. And if you use this as you base for recurrent travel, they will make you feel at home. Plus Location is near perfect to visit the city.

I had a wonderful stay at Borneta, and one of the biggest reasons was Cristian and Sebastian at the front desk. they are professionalism and genuine care made me feel at home throughout my stay. It’s rare to meet someone who goes the extra mile with such a positive attitude, and I truly appreciate everything he did for me.
