I travelled to Barcelona with a friend and we were really overwhelmed when we were looking for a hostel to stay, with so many options available.
But we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the hostel. Our room was clean, bright and simply, but nicely decorated. It was not the most spacious room I have ever stayed at, but it was enough for us, as we only were there to sleep, walking around Barcelona during the daytime. Admittedly, the AC wasn't working, as other reviewers have pointed out, but that didn't bother us too much, as it wasn't extremely hot in our room. We didn't have any problems with the WiFi in our room. The reception staff were very friendly, helping us out with anything we needed. The location is very central, which was one of the main reasons we chose it, next to las Ramblas, la Boqueria and very close to metro stations.
If you are looking for a simple, comfortable and affordable accommodation, I would really recommend this hostel! If, however, you are looking for a place where you would spend a large part of the day during your stay, maybe this wouldn't be the best choice for you.
