Sercotel Amister Art Hotel

Pathetic, the new manager is pitiful; I have been a customer for 17 years, every long weekend and summer vacation No welcome, we had some privileges, everything of ours. Was removed without even notifying us, he didn't even have the courage to greet us, he wants to make us leave this hotel, well it's done, we won't go back, not to mention the hotel which is more than very mediocre for a so-called 4-star, having been around it for 17 years All the friendly staff that used to be there have left because of Gabriel who is unbearable at work, they told us

3 nights stay, room was clean, no tea and coffee facilities in room although advertised! Breakfast adequate, food was lukewarm not hot . Continental selection ok and kept us going for a while ! Staff pleasant and friendly and informative on reception. Advertised as rooftop pool and bar ! Not very welcoming, bar wasn’t open and according to staff hasn’t been for months , no comfy seating no cushions and pool no more than a plunge pool. Definitely not as shown on website!! Location ok easy to get around to all attractions , bus stop and metro close by . We won’t stay at this hotel again . Small tip , purchase tickets for attractions well in advance before you go. Eg, Sagrada Família , In our opinion this is not really classed as a four star hotel ,three max .

Good hotel in Barcelona close to Las Ramblas and in a very walkable location. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was excellent.
