The
hotel is nice. The rooms are fine. It is not very expensive but it is not cheap. It is right next to the abbey. But in the middle of July, in a heat wave and with 86 degrees at midnight, they tell us at the reception that the air conditioners have been disabled in all the rooms to save money or for environmental reasons, it is not understood. We had a terrible night, sweating and not sleeping. You cannot charge more than €100 for a night and want to save on air conditioning when temperatures are at 30 degrees at night. They should notify those who book very clearly that that is the hotel's policy. That way one thinks twice about paying to suffer all night from infernal heat.
