Expo Hotel Barcelona

The best part of this funky, bright hotel is the staff and the location. We were moving around the area for a wedding and needed to be close to the train station. We started and ended our trip staying at the Moxy and it wound up being perfect. It isn't in the center of the city, but you are an affordable cab ride/Uber away from everything. The rooms are not huge, but efficiently laid out. We had 3 adults in 3 twin beds and we had room for 3 suitcases and room to hang our clothes. The bathroom has a good layout and enough room for all of us to leave our toiletries in the bathroom. Good water pressure. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the bar area on the third floor and the rooftop restaurant were really good too. Honey at the front desk was always helpful and friendly to see!

We love a Moxy hotel and this one did not disappoint. Let’s start with what I find reading reviews about any Moxy. The room…yes it’s minimal but honestly perfect in our opinion. There’s not so much of the clutter. The room was small but not unlike many other hotel rooms across Europe. It’s spotless with a great bathroom and shower! The beds were the most comfortable beds we slept in on our 30 day adventure and we all wished we had more nights there. The location is great as it’s right by the central station. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. A must stay when you are in Barcelona!
