We needed a hotel for one night prior to departing for our cruise. Not knowing the area, we relied solely on reviews when booking this hotel. The cab ride from the airport was about 20 minutes and cost $48 for four of us with luggage. The lobby is modern and welcoming and our rooms were simple but clean, quiet and very comfortable. They will let you store your luggage if you are departing later which was convenient for us. There is a small restaurant right across the street (Petit Tapas) that had really good food and a market a couple blocks away if you want to purchase alcohol. We took a taxi to Sagrada Familia because it was too far to walk in the heat. My only complaint was that check in was very slow. We even checked in online the day prior and entered all our passport numbers, etc... and they had us do it again once we got there. We spent about 20 minutes waiting just to get our room keys at the small check-in desk. Otherwise, we would stay here again.
