Hotel Ibersol Antemare Spa

Very disappointing. Hotel in need of refurbishment as rooms and communal areas look quite shabby. Staff can be unhelpful, occasionally rude. £100 taken from your bank account immediately on arrival to cover cost of any potential damage. This wasn’t explained fully on arrival and caused confusion.

I booked a room and paid in advance for a room with pool view. I was given a room with a view of the next rooms balcony. I was told they were sold out. The website said 5 rooms available. The blonde (Isabel) at reception lied!! The breakfast is a joke!!! Horrible food and the service staff made so much noise that is was intolerable. They wheel this old noisy cart around the restaurant throwing the dishes in the bins. The coffee is terrible. The food gave me diarrhea. It’s like they warmed up food from days before. The fruit selection was a joke ( very limited) they have beans if you’re into that. The worst part is they control the air conditioning at the front desk. They turned our air conditioning off for 5 hours in the heat of the day. Reception was cool but the rooms were like saunas. Again they lied and said the air conditioning was broken and they were working on it. This has happen to us in the past so we knew this was a big fat lie. Staff have n Reception is terrible especially the blond woman (Isabel) and the guy in the morning with terrible attitude. No Kleenex in the rooms. Really, a 4 star hotel? Definitely NOT!!! The limited personal care products in the room were all watered down. The hotel is filled with old ladies that run out first thing in the morning and reserve their pool lounges with towels. Smoker go there to be obnoxious and will make you miserable. Towels in rooms are like rags. Avoid this terrible hell hole motel!!! We checked out at 10pm and moved to another hotel because it was unbearable with no air conditioning sitting in our sauna room while the Isabel is cool in reception with a phony smile on her face.

Good value for money Super breakfast If half board, not always very varied but good Friendly welcome
