Sunway Amapola Apartmen

This place is really big and right on the shore. There is an attached golf course and they have a section of the beach with sunchairs. The room was large, but dated. The standout part of the apartment we rented was the view of the water. We enjoyed that a lot, had a bottle of wine, ice, got cold cuts from the mini mart downstairs and fresh bread for a wonderful meal. We paid for an extra late check out since our flight back to the states was leaving only around 8pm from Barcelona. That allowed us to have a great last day with only a 35 minute drive to the airport.

They don't leave trash bags. They only left us a paper rust for 5 days. Soap shines through its absence. There is no one to rest, for the noises were horrifying, from 12 at night to 5 in the morning we could not catch an eye. We had some sneakers and when we called and asked, they called us and they NEVER did. NOTHING recommended, as even the air conditioning did not work. The apartment leaves a lot to be desired, and even the staff is PRETTY CAREFREE with the customer. They also took advantage of the fact that we were not at the check out to later deduct us from the 50 euros deposit due to lack of hygiene. They're artists. BE CAREFUL. AND IF YOU CAN, CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE,

Pros: affordable, not far from the centre (15 min walk), clean spacious rooms, good kitchen, lots of storage space, nice pool, friendly staff, bike hire, lots of towels, big balcony, big sofa/extra bed, lots of storage space, easy parking Cons: no AC or fan after early September so some nights unbearably hot, very poor sound insulation due to open windows so vulnerable to noisy neighbours, no amenities nearby eg shops, cafes
