BEST WESTERN HOTEL CONDE DUQUE

Everything stands and falls with staff. Really substandard. Try ordering a drink sometime. They don't like you. Eventually you get something with a lot of reluctance. Breakfast good until 2nd day. No more sandwiches at 9:00. Nothing refilled. Room was ok though. Too bad about a nice city trip.

Delighted with our choice of hotel. Lovely location - opposite the Zubizuri pedestrian bridge. Nice walk along the river to the old town- about 1 kilometre. Across the bridge were also some nice bars/ restaurants. Tram nearby- so easy to get to bus station. Bus stop for airport not too far. We had lovely room on 8th floor - it was a room with large terrace and separate living area. Room and bathroom- a bit basic and dated but clean and had everything you need. Shampoo and shower gel are wall dispensers. No other toiletries provided. Toilet paper is also wall dispenser. Good rainfall shower and nice towels. Hairdryer not great. Safe in room and plenty wardrobe space. Reception staff very helpful. Good breakfast- hot and cold food. Scrambled /fried eggs, bacon, sausages. Cold meats, cheese, fruit, juices. yogurt. Bread, pastries, biscuits. We would be happy to stay here again.

Not the hotel so can’t comment but the cafe bar on the Main Street .Went in to get some drinks.The servers served 3 customers before me even though he acknowledged me . Ended up walking out very annoyed. Served all the locals and ignored the English tourists not good .
