Parador De Guadalupe Hotel

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in a superior double room with a good terrace offering magnificent views of the Monastery of Guadalupe and a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king-size bed. The buffet breakfast was quite acceptable in a very spacious dining room, and the dinner outdoors in a garden area with pleasant fountains. The pool was not yet open in the first half of June, so we could not use it. The location of the Parador de Guadalupe is perfect as it is right in front of the Monastery of Guadalupe; however, the parking at the Parador costs 18.00 euros per car per day, a price in line with the difficulty of finding a public parking space. The employees of the Parador de Guadalupe, both at the reception and in the dining room and cleaning, were all friendly and professional, a good place to rest and enjoy the silence.

Lovely hotel in main square in Guadalupe opposite the monastery. Unique character in the rooms and plenty of space. Excellent restaurant on site for dinner and really good buffet breakfasts. Pool was closed when we were there. Location is perfect ( bear in mind Guadalupe is small) but if you have walking or mobility challenges be aware you are on a hill with cobble stones. But don’t let that put you off. Would positively stay again

A real shame that when you arrive at the Parador, you will find the patio-cloister and the patio-garden undergoing renovations, not because of the noise but because it is a part of the differentiating spaces and enjoyment for the client. Frankly disappointing that with the booking made earlier, no one warns you of this very relevant aspect. The visit of the Guadalupe Monastery is worth it, it is spectacular although very bad the audios in a group and a shame that there was no specialized guide who talks about the history linked to the times and interests of the people
