Pension El Cesar

The room itself was basic (although with TV), the bathroom was via the corridor. Everything was clean. Location was good (5 minutes walking to Plaza Mayor). Wifi was good. Very good price/value ratio. The lady at the reception was helpful although she doesn't understand english.

Strange almost spooky old building..stone stairs winding..passage ways and corners..to a very quiet, very basic very bright and clean little room..huge and sparkling clean bathroom shared, but theres so many bathrooms in this building I saw no one. nice little lounge with decent wifi.. Sounds basic and uninspiring ?? and so the room is..(but mine was cheapest of cheap) But the location makes up for all. This is a very old building opening up onto the covered walkway facing the huge town square. On a rainy May day the stillness over the old town was dreamy. The Hotels location is superb..Click clack your heels across the old square..stop in one of the many curbside cafes, mount the stone steps and your back in the 14C. This place is wonderful..and the funny old hotel fits the locations atmosphere. for a budget hotel I doubt you could do better,
