A 10/10 service! The staff makes all the difference Our stay at Hipotels Barrosa Palace was exceptional, and the main reason was its wonderful team. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff welcomed us with a smile and incredible kindness. The waiters and chefs in the restaurants are highly professional, attentive to every detail, and always eager to please. The housekeeping team keeps everything spotless, and the spa staff is lovely. You can feel the professionalism in every department. We will definitely return. Thank you so much to the whole team for making us feel so special!

The 5-star Hipotels Barrosa Palace in Novo Sancti Petri offers the best conditions for a successful vacation right on the kilometer-long, fine sandy beach of Playa de La Barrosa. The entire hotel complex is in an excellent and very well-maintained condition. ​Room & Amenities ​The rooms are exceptionally large and spacious. The generous entrance area/hallway with a spacious wardrobe, in which there are also sufficient clothes hangers, is particularly positive. The bathroom is also very generously designed and has a separately partitioned toilet. You will also find more than enough space to relax on the balcony. ​Gastronomy & Culinary Arts The main restaurant impresses with its stylish, pleasant ambiance and a well-thought-out room design that ensures a relaxed atmosphere even when fully occupied. A special highlight is the beautiful outdoor terrace, where you can wonderfully enjoy both breakfast and dinner under the open sky. Both meals are offered in a rich buffet format. ▪ ​Breakfast: Extremely diverse and high-quality – no wish remains unfulfilled here. The live cooking station, where omelets, fried eggs, poached eggs, and other egg dishes are freshly prepared upon request, is particularly great. ▪ ​Dinner: Also offers a large and varied selection for every taste. The huge and lovingly arranged dessert selection is an absolute dream. ▪ ​Grill station criticism: Unfortunately, points are deducted here. The meat at the live grill station was unfortunately not of good quality, which was clearly noticeable when eating it. Furthermore, the selection of food at the station is not always understandable – a rabbit leg is classically braised, but is absolutely not suitable for the grill. ▪ ​Pool bar: The integrated pool bar restaurant invites you to enjoy delicious snacks and drinks in a very beautiful atmosphere during the day. Pool, Beach & Beach Club ​The pool area is spacious and very appealing. You can reach the dreamlike beach directly via a gently sloping, paved wooden walkway. • ​"Serena Beach Club" chiringuito: The hotel's own beach club offers a great atmosphere right by the sea. • ​Beach loungers: A significant point of criticism is the price for the beach loungers: $18 for two loungers and an umbrella per day is simply horrendous. • ​Cleanliness of the beach section: The area around the loungers could be cleaned more often (cigarette butts, straws, etc.). Even though these are naturally primarily the unsightly remnants left by inconsiderate guests, the operator should sweep through here more often. ​Service & Staff – The true highlight ​The exceptional friendliness of all staff members—regardless of which area of the hotel they work in—is particularly noteworthy. Even after a long and exhausting workday, they always greet guests with a genuine smile and a high level of helpfulness. A company stands or falls with its employees—and this hotel has fantastic staff! ​Conclusion ​A beautiful 5-star hotel with a top location and outstanding staff. If the hotel improves the quality of the meat at the dinner buffet and reconsiders the prices for the beach loungers, there is absolutely nothing left to criticize. We would love to come back!

Exceptional hotel at La Barrosa beach. I recommend very much the à la carte restaurant El Enebro Only weak point: the WiFi is not very good. For the rest, 5/5. Will repeat for sure.
