To be honest, we cannot fully understand the excellent reviews here. The hotel is truly located on a dream beach, and the rooms are modern and spacious, but on one hand, we found the pool area far too small for the size of the hotel, the lounge chairs are placed very close together, and the small umbrellas provide little shade. However, we would make the biggest deductions regarding the food: Both the breakfast buffet and the evening buffet initially looked impressive due to the huge quantities, but the dishes were neither particularly warm nor well-seasoned; in our view, there is a lack of very basic culinary skills here. The meat was often completely overcooked, the fish often in a mushy, floury, and bland sauce, the 'crispy' chicken legs were soggy, and the paella was completely oversalted. We were often reminded of mediocre cafeteria food. We also experienced the service as rather below average and not appropriate for a four-star establishment. It's actually a shame, as the quality of the kitchen and service could be relatively easily improved with good training, but as it stands, we cannot recommend this hotel at all.
