Hostal Paris

I came to the line with the intention of passing to Gibraltar and this hostel was well located for what I wanted I asked for a room with bathroom and for the price I paid it seems reasonable. I was on a second floor without elevator and the bad thing is that you could hear everything the walls look like paper and the doors to close you have to hit them otherwise fair cleaning and a ramshackle old furniture. It fulfilled the function I wanted simply

A hostel-type place which accommodates local workers as well as tourists it seems. Not even a one-star hotel. My room had a bathroom but no outside window, so quite dark and dismal. Other rooms might be better if they have an outside window. The reception guy was friendly and pleasant. La Linea town itself is a short walk to the border and there are a few cafes/bars around. There is an exceptionally good local cafe near on the bus 'station' roundabout.

Location and price okay. Lots of restis in surroundings yet quiet. Mattress with slight dent and both toilets in the 2nd. Stock without sparks. Flushing.
