The location is alright and the place itself looks amazing, however, my experience there left a sour taste. We were there as a big group, for business, and spent significant amount on lunch, spa circuits and golf. After completing the average looking spa circuit, as it is only a few pools, nothing out of the ordinary, we decided to enjoy the sun by the outdoor pool while waiting for the golfers to return. We were essentially kicked out of the pool area, as we did not purchase a day pass to the pool (on top of everything else). Any normal business would consider that a big group would probably order drinks and snacks by the pool, so would be good to make a good impression for any future events, but we were made to leave. That act alone put us off the whole place and changed the whole energy of the group. Certainly would not be going back there ever again, there are much better places in the area to go to, where you are also treated well. Definitely avoid

We had a wonderful stay at the SO Sotogrande hotel. A lovely place and an incredible team of staff……a special call out for Daniel and Jose, who helped put together a fantastic agenda for us including restaurant bookings, padel, tennis etc……and to Catarina who is one of the most cheerful and friendly people we have met, a ray of sunshine! Many thanks to everyone at SO.

We just spent a few days at SO/ Sotogrande and we can only say that it was a wonderful experience for the whole family. We traveled with two children, and the hotel is incredibly well thought out for them. Between the Family Pool and all the activities, there was no way to get them out of the water. They had a great time from the very first moment. A very special mention goes to Rosa from the Kids Club. Only she managed to make Calma feel completely comfortable, let go, and stay happily playing. For us, that is priceless. At So-Ciety, Mercedes Torremocha and Paco made every breakfast and lunch feel like being at home. They took care of us and the kids with a warmth and attention that is rarely found. They made us feel like family, and we will always be grateful to them. We also want to especially thank Mohamed, who on the first night was a true superstar trying to resolve an issue with our check-in, and Rocío, who made us feel comfortable and calm in a situation that was initially quite stressful. Cristina at the reception also deserves a mention for her lovely smile, kindness, and constant willingness to help with anything we needed. And we cannot forget Daniel, who took us on a buggy tour around the resort. According to Dylan, it was directly the best moment of the entire trip. The kids had an incredibly good time, and we enjoyed getting to know him and chatting with him. An exceptional young man. The waiters who served us during dinner at IXO also provided impeccable service. They made us feel very comfortable at all times and had wonderful attention towards the children. Although we have mentioned some people in particular, the reality is that the entire team contributed to making this little getaway a very special memory for our family. The only regret is not being able to stay longer. Thank you all very much. We will return very soon... although next time it might be a getaway just for us 🤣 See you soon, SO/ Sotogrande❤️
