Hotel Convento Tarifa

Lovely hotel with well appointed rooms on a fairly non-descript road but close to the old town and beach. Parking is an issue but for €20 you can reserve a space in a garage close by (the hotel receptionist kindly got in the back seat to guide us there!). No tea or coffee facilities in the room but there is on the first floor landing.

The location is perfect for going to the beach and to the downtown area. Close to the entrance wall to the shopping and bar area. The staff is very friendly. Very clean place. Large room. It has air conditioning, and the only downside is that it does not have a refrigerator. The breakfast is amazing.

Good facilities. As a negative just emphasize that the rooms do not have a refrigerator, a necessity in these areas. A cold water dispenser is available which partly addresses the drawback. Outstanding care. Parking is possible within a few meters, at 20 euros per night. It's hard to find a place elsewhere. It has a bar and the possibility of having breakfast on site.
