Comillas

Our experience of one night at the Hotel Comillas was very good. It is an old hotel of almost 30 years, or decorated to look like it, which does not prevent everything from being perfectly clean and tidy, both the bathroom and the room, and the comfort of the bed was perfect. Good value for money and the attention from the staff who assisted us was very good. There is enough free parking and it is just a step away from the center.

Average hotel which sometimes can meet your needs perfectly. In my case, I didn't even plan to stay in Comillas. However, my feet started bleeding after the fourth day of trail running. I needed some respite altogether with some others from our group. So we stopped in Comillas for a couple of days. I was happy the rooms were equipped with baths instead of shower cabins. That enabled me to partially heel the wounds, put on some tapes and darn tough with 1 size oversize boots and continue the running later to Pendueles. However the hotel other than its price did not really stun. Everything was average. The breakfast, too.

Hotel at the entrance to the prairie of the Palacio de Sobrellano, with a very good parking, the normal room and bathroom also, the breakfast very good and well served by a lady, the only thing I did not like was the reception area next to a kind of bar-cafeteria.
