Gran Hotel Balneario Puente Viesgo

GRAN HOTEL PUENTE VIESGO SPA. I checked in Saturday the 4th and checked out the 5th of July, it was one night with half board, 2h water circuit, aromatic bath, and sensitive massage. A great experience from the arrival, the service from the waiter was perfect as well as the young waitress we had. Relaxing 2h water circuit. Aromatic bath 20 min. and a great, very relaxing massage, the girl NATALIA without skimping on time and dedication a 10, just as we complain when it is appropriate I like to praise what is well done. Congratulations

I stayed with my family and my partner in May, the reception guy was super kind and gave us a map of Cantabria since it was our first time and advised us on very good places (I don't remember his name but I do know he lives in Suances) excellent professional. Now, what they call a "spa" is actually a spa; specifically, a short colleague with black glasses is a very unfriendly person. When explaining, she implied to my brother and partner that they should not dive headfirst, as if they were little children, prejudging, and on top of that, she entered the men's bathroom, which is disrespectful. The truth is that they are losing a lot with a person like that.

My family and I stayed at this hotel, and it is very beautiful. The rooms seemed clean at first glance, but there was a lot of dirt under the beds (which I reported at the front desk). The reception staff was very friendly, especially a young man who welcomed us warmly and explained everything. What I liked the least was the visit to the spa; the people who greeted us were very unfriendly (especially those who go down to the Spa to explain how to use the facilities). Access to the spa, which is essentially a Spa, I do not understand why they call it a balneario! They were very demanding and spoke to my son and my son-in-law in a rude manner, telling them that they could not dive into the Spa as if they were doing something wrong (perhaps they thought they were uneducated). It was she who lacked manners when entering the men's restroom, creating extreme discomfort. The excitement we had to try it was cut short by the girl with her way of explaining things, especially a short, dark-haired girl with black glasses. Additionally, when my husband, my son, and my son-in-law were changing, she entered the restroom at the end of our check-out time without warning and misused the men's restroom while my relatives were in their underwear and other men were changing and showering, to tell them that they could not bathe if they were staying at the hotel, which should have been communicated beforehand and not when people are inside the restroom, creating a very uncomfortable situation. Very, very disappointing and unprofessional. I hope the hotel takes action regarding this person because it is a shame to have people working with such manners, also generating discomfort for others who were preparing to enter the Spa. This situation was so uncomfortable that they complained about the bad manners of this girl. I hope this changes for the good of the hotel because it leaves much to be desired; truly very disappointing! We were excited to return, but unfortunately, this situation has made us not want to repeat.
