Playa la Arena

The prices are a little high for what the apartments are, we arrived and the agency wouldn't let us pay with cards, we had to go to a town to get money, ours was very humid and full of air fresheners to hide the smell, how good it is It was near the sand beach

The location is great one minute from the sea restaurants and shops , great pool and sun bathing area This block is vast as a hotel till 10 years ago now a mix of owner occupied and holiday let’s this flat is first floor and looks as if a 90 year old person just left , so basic it is sad for the owner who needs attention to detail like the kitchen no oven no grill no toaster just hobs and a tiny fridge Sitting room with a curtain off for a 2nd no window bedroom , bathroom with hand held shower and sanitary fittings well past sell by date with chips on enemal toilet pan Sitting room table 4 chairs to go with but no cushion a 3 person sofa a piece of furniture with missing handles , bedroom with two beds one table lamp and one side table , a safe with jammed lock . Outside a lovely spacious balcony if it did not have paint coming off it wall and a stain on floor it would be great table four chairs and an umnbrella that is jammed at 45 degrees With a little money this flat could command a much higher rent rather than being charged at present a lost oppunity .

Stayed in these apartments very nice lots of restaurants and shops near by very hilly if u have walking trouble but would stay again heated pool is a bonus playa las americas is 30 mins away by car but no need to go in beach is 5 mins walk away and local spar 5 mins as well some of the apartments are privately owned but would defo return weather was great
