This hotel was quirky and unique- and beautiful!! The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. Specifically the waitress (I think her name was Amarie?) She was so kind. Even though I understand Spanish, I am not great at speaking. She was very patient and went out of her way to help me pick out food and to have conversation with me- albeit it very broken on my end. I went solo, so it was very comforting to have someone speak with me when I’m learning the language. Perfectly place to stop!

Stayed just one night - a mixed experience. Poor first impression - only one of a pair of imposing entrance gates opens automatically, and not wide enough to admit a car without getting out and doing it yourself.
The site gives the impression of having had a lot of money thrown at it rather randomly. Reception is located within a raised single storey building of rusted metal and glass which also creates space for an uninviting subterranean swimming pool (locked) underneath. Several of the large terracotta pots of canna lilies on a patio area were inexplicably waterlogged. Near the site entrance is an excavated area the size of an Olympic swimming pool, but empty. It is filled with huge brown protuberances covered in green slime with deep clefts between them, adding to the sense that guests may have strayed onto the set of a bizarre foreign film...
A wedding was in progress when we arrived. Told we might get something to eat at the "cafeteria" at 8pm but we found it deserted. Managed to raise a couple of kitchen staff who kindly made us croquettes and frites (expensive!), which we ate beside a wall of fake greenery and a very large poster of a hunting dog with bloodied paws in th foreground, more blood on the grass in the background and possibly the remains of a kill.
Our room was clean with a comfortable bed (but NOT kingsize as promised on the website) and contemporary fittings.
In the morning a very poor quality continental breakfast (expensive!) served by one of the overworked ladies from the day before. Lukewarm coffee was replaced with good grace. All credit to the very pleasant kitchen staff who were anxious to please and doing their best at all times.
Wouldn't recommend.

Room 141,, small for 2 people and theoretically adapted, I do not think someone with wheelchair thinks the same. The shower drain does not swallow so the water reaches the furniture.A very low sink without countertop where to pose the canister of cream or makeup although there is also no light that leaves you makeup. The bathroom without ventilation and without door so it is not very advisable to use the toilet, better go out to the bathroom of the corridor
The fridge can be saved, it does not cool. The break was complicated as you have a door attached to the room to go out to the patio that gives blows and to finish me off they played a music of atmosphere that at 7 in the morning did not make me much fun.Not today to value the decoration of the ceiling that will be whoever likes.
The front desk staff (especially the guy who greeted us) are lovely and the girl who served us breakfast (a good breakfast) was lovely
At dinner we were not so lucky, the food is good but the dining room girl could not manage it well. The Palace is very nice and the pool separated from the rooms I liked although the pool towels are not towels from a 4 star hotel.
