Parador de Manzanares

Everything is old and looks neglected. The shower tray is full of stains. Splintered doors. The sheer curtains have stains. The window doesn't fit properly and you can hear the noise from the highway. It claims to be 4 stars and doesn't even reach three (except for the price: 150€). You'd be better off looking for any cheap roadside motel; you'll be better off.

Wonderful. Great food. Excellent service, a refreshing pool, and gardens... an oasis in La Mancha.

Lovely stay at the Parador at Manzanares-staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well thought out and it was lovely to have a little terrace with table and chairs to sit out and watch the birds catching insects in the breeze. Easy to find off the main road, plenty of parking, an outdoor pool-everything you could wish for a nice stay.
