Formentera Mar Apartamentos Aviacio

We rented an apartment for 3 people although we are only a couple. The apartment has nothing to to with the photos on booking.com. It is tiny, smells of damp, tiny tv. No wifi, no iron, toiletries are two soap bars. Unacceptable for the price we paid, I could have gone to a hotel for a decent stay. I requested to be changed to a bigger apartment as we booked and after make us wait for two hours they just said they had nothing else available.

We spent two nights in a one bedroom apartment with views over the salt flats. The apartment was very clean, and we had plenty of supplies such as towels, sheets, toiletries, etc. The staff at reception was also very friendly and helpful. The only criticism I will mention was the smelly tap water, that tasted very salty and was not fit for cooking with. I suspect it is desalinated water that is not intended to be drunk, but it smells rather unpleasant and we were not warned about it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would return back/recommend it to friends.

The apartment is great for the non fussy traveller. It is clean, comfortable bed, good location (although access could be a bit easier). It is within walking distance from good restaurants and short cycle trip to Playa de Ses Illetes and surroundings. It has all facilities if you are looking to cook your own food and the facilities are cleaned daily. It could be a bit cheaper as meals are not included and Wi Fi is not available, but I knew what I was paying for.
