Wonderful hotel and excellent treatment from the staff. We will return without a doubt.

Our family vacation was supposed to start as usual in one of the best hotels in Fuerteventura. Even at the reception, which was friendly, we missed the feeling of having booked a hotel with excellent service. The creeping dissatisfaction became obvious during our visit to the pool bar for our first drink: dirty tables, long lines at the bar, and insufficient staff. Even at that moment, we were still hopeful. When visiting the restaurant in the evening, things changed: no restaurant was available to us except for the buffet restaurant. At check-in, these options were NOT explained to us. Not a single individual restaurant out of a total of 7 restaurants was still bookable. Only after a long discussion at the reception were we admitted to one of the restaurants that was supposedly fully booked. The half-empty restaurant was okay, but the restrooms were incredibly dirty. Another highlight was the nighttime noise disturbance due to the World Cup held there. Disco every night until 5 a.m.! Which is generally understandable, however, we were not informed at any point. Multiple complaints, including written ones, were ignored. CONCLUSION: Such poor management leads to long-term damage to the Melia brand. We will definitely not book another stay here and have also learned our lesson regarding all-inclusive, which means nothing other than: high quantity but low quality.

We were unfortunate to arrive during a water sports championship taking place next to the hotel. The event appears to be organised by or in cooperation with the hotel, and the music is extremely loud, continuing until around 5 a.m. It seems this will happen every night. We asked to move to a quieter room, but unfortunately we felt that the management did not take our concerns seriously or make a genuine effort to help. It is a real shame, as this nightly noise is likely to ruin the holiday for many guests currently staying at the hotel. We believe guests should be informed about such an event before booking so they can make an informed decision. The food is average.
