This hotel is pure bliss for those who love rest, silence, and beautiful landscapes; the view from the cliff is breathtaking.

Very disappointing customer service. I have used Paradores on other occasions and precisely for that reason I expected a different type of response. Faced with a problem with a reservation, the management was absolutely rigid, with no willingness to offer a reasonable solution or alternative. An experience that has greatly changed my opinion about Paradores and, in particular, about this establishment.

We booked a suite at the Parador de Aiguablava for a 15-night stay, trusting in the prestige of Paradores and paying the price corresponding to a room of this category. The experience, so far, has been profoundly disappointing. Since our arrival on June 28, the room has significant deficiencies: * Two of the three access doors to the terrace are broken and cannot be opened, preventing normal use of one of the main areas of the suite. * The outdoor shower on the terrace is not working. * The television has been unusable since our arrival, remaining stuck on the pairing screen. The most concerning issue is not just the breakdowns, but the way they have been managed. We have reported these incidents since the first day and have repeatedly gone to the reception. As of June 30, we still do not have an effective solution. Today, the Parador staff themselves informed us that the issue with the doors is much more serious than they thought and that a crane will be needed to repair them. It is difficult to understand how a room with a breakdown of this magnitude can continue to be rented as a fully operational suite. Additionally, this very morning they offered my wife to change our room. When I personally went two hours later to accept that solution, we were informed that it was no longer possible. In light of this situation, we have submitted the corresponding official complaint form to the Generalitat de Catalunya, as we believe that the service received does not correspond to what was contracted nor to the amount paid. It is truly a shame, because the surroundings are spectacular and the location of the Parador is privileged. However, magnificent views do not compensate for defective facilities or incident management that, so far, is far from what one would expect from Paradores. I am attaching photographs so that each traveler can assess for themselves the condition of the room. Update: if the establishment ultimately resolves all the incidents satisfactorily and adequately compensates for the damages caused, I will update this review to reflect that.
