Aiguaneu

We booked the standard 2-bedroom apt with city views. Pictures showed normal apt. with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room and 1 bathroom. There was an extra small bathroom, which was not in pictures - a nice surprise! The location couldn't be better !! However, the place was slightly aged, kitchen furniture should be replaced soon (smells) and those city views mean a view to the narrow street (ground floor apt.). After the small initial disappointment, with our luggage unpacked, we got used to the place and think, that for a group of 4 people, who want to enjoy Costa Brava, this is a comfortable and useful apt. and can recommend it easily. Not for a spoiled person though :) Kitchen could use a second knife (bread-type), but other than that, you get a big fridge with a big freezer (very useful), a big dining table, two comfortable beds in two bedrooms (4 people easily) joined with one ground-level balcony, 2 bathrooms (one big, one small) and one living room (the couch could use a wash). The best part of the apt. are the guys renting it! Friendly, easy going people, who gave us nice dinner suggestions and provided support throughout the whole trip - this is the main reason, why we would come back to Blanes and rent an apt. from them again. Flawless reservation, check-in, check-out and support during your stay - these are the things that matter way more, than a smelly first 2-3 hours of the stay. Very good service, everything where taken care of. Everything😊 Apartment was clean, a bit warm, air-conditioning missing, but everything else where there, including soap for dishwasher. Very central, some problem getting car-parking on friday evening, expensive parking but ok.

The man from the agency was there to greet us within minutes of us arriving. Communication throughout booking was quick and efficient. The apartment was spacious, very clean and tastefully decorated with a large balcony and a wonderful view. The kitchen was well equipt. We were a short walk to the town with childrens play area just down the sea front. On leaving our host arrived at exactly the time he stated so we could leave for the airport. Would come again.
