Amaraigua

I have waited a while to write this review but that does not mean that my memory of this hotel is not alive. I'm just going to list positive and negative for you. Positive: the food was, despite an unsociable “dining room”, acceptable. Negative: dirty worn hotel, absolutely no 4 *, rooms poorly maintained, windows do not close properly causing nocturnal nuisance, it is like sleeping with your head in a urinal (sewage smell in the room), at the entrance were cockroaches. We had booked 4 nights but left after 1 night. If you like a dirty, noisy, outdated all-in hotel this is the place.

There have always been a nice hotel with friendly people for 15 years but this was the last time. My sister and I were put in an unbuilt trunk room that was very small, had to be in a bed 1.35 wide together. Since my sister can't walk properly due to disability, she bumped into everything. Result bruises. Complained to reception but was not heeded. Once home I sent an email asking if I can get a guarantee on a normal room next time. Mail was not answered, nor was 2nd mail. Location and food very good. Too bad this.

AMARAIGUA 2025 Super friendly Welcoming, pleasant staff, competent and attentive to customers. To access the hotel ( follow GPS ). At the roundabout , facing the sea, follow the passage just in front under the bridge and immediately to the right. Personally, we had no trouble parking outside the hotel (it was mid-October). There is an underpass that allows access to the various shops! The room: Large spacious room with 2 beds 140X190 facing the sea. Room with 2 balconies facing the sea. Spacious, practical and functional bathroom. Large Italian shower, hair dryer, and toiletries (soap, shower gel, body milk A bathroom to the TOP for all, including disabled people. Cleaning, towels changed every day. DPJ: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Lunch: 13h to 14h30 Dinner: 19:30 to 21:30 From DPJ to Dinner: cold cuts, eggs, bacon, croissants, dishes, meats, fish, plancha, BBQ, and above all, it's good!! Panoramic lift, Wifi on top ( 2X the room number for connection) Unheated swimming pool, but direct access to the beach, feet in the water. To summarize, 1st time in this hotel, but certainly not the last!!
