Clipper and Villas

DISAPPOINTMENT: For the ultimate deal, for the state of the facility... I booked 2 nights in one of the Villas that are part of the hotel. We are assigned Villa 1 and as soon as we reach the entrance/parking lot it is all full of crap. 1st image already bad, door and peephole in bad condition due to humidity. We went in and found a villa with the sofas with spots and not very nice colors, broken curtains, walls full of dead mosquitoes and the remains of blood... we go to dinner and the garden overlooks a wall of the hotel, it is dwarf, the outside table is deformed, the cushions of the chairs all dirty and there are some wires, wrongly placed, that if you do not see them you can hurt yourself. We spend the night occupying 3 rooms and all 90 bed rooms have the same problem: the mattresses are deformed and if you move it looks like you will fall. 3 people we spent lousy night. In the morning I claim and yes they change me to villa 10. We arrived and it turns out that the air conditioning does not work. The technician comes, complains about the very services they offer and that he can do nothing for that night. We ordered fans, we need 3, it only has 2. I go to reception and the girl, not nice, tells me to open a ticket to customer service by the app that she can't do anything. Really? How good she is with air conditioning and a fan behind her, but she won't let me. It's 19:00 and something and until 21:00 there's supposed to be customer service. I demand another ventilator or that my mother, who is his birthday, go to a hotel room and sleep as she deserves and I have paid, but Nobody answers. In the new villa one person sleeps rough, another mattress sinks on one side and another without air conditioning passing heat. Because there are so many mosquitoes you can't open the window. The facilities and service is not a 4 star. There's humidities, mice, moldy air conditioners. The very basic breakfast buffet... It is not worth what they ask for the stay and above all if they do not give you what they offer they do not compensate or answer. I don't want to hear apologies anymore, I don't want excuses. I had been twice before the pandemic, now not anymore, nor recommend it.

The hotel is autonomous in management but connected to a gigantic resort with El Delfin Verde water park. The overnight stay can also allow access to the resort, which I recommend especially if you have children. Inside there is a great supermarket with competitive prices, many great restaurants, takeaway pizzas and hamburgers, ice cream parlors, laundry, kids club and water area for all tastes. We had a nice room with balcony overlooking the pool and kitchenette, very spacious. The breakfast is high quality, varies although to be a 4 star something more could be put as choices. Reception and very active and kind services. Free beach a stone's throw with kiosks and very nice sea. Internal parking available free of charge although not huge.

It's the 3rd year I've been with my current partner, we went because about 15 years ago I discovered it with my ex-husband and we really liked it... As I say we were in 2023, 2024, and now we have gone 4 days, and I keep saying the same thing: excellent location, beach 5min normally uncrowded, when catching MP we had the food included, and that is still another good part... but òoooooo, the MAINTENANCE OF THE HOTEL gentlemen, it can not be that a hotel of 4* is as it is... and every year it goes worse because they do not fix anything...for proof, the photos that I hang: upholstery of the chairs of the dining room dirty, cushions of the sofas of the exterior garden broken, and especially the interior of the pool, walls with greenishes, and walls in bad condition....plus the cleaning leaves much to be desired.... The attention of the staff, correct, but this year nothing of note, we do not believe that they also invest in staff, everything goes for the campsite. Unfortunately, my husband and I have already decided that next year we will look for another place, in anger because I already say that where it is located is the best.
