Don Juan Tossa

We travelled as a group of six friends aging from 40-76 and opted for all inclusive. We got a really good deal and found it excellent value for money. The majority of staff are fabulous, really helpful and friendly. The lady at the bar helped us set up a little party area to celebrate two birthdays which was lovely. The reception was modern and comfortable with a children’s gaming area to one end. Lifts were quick and the layout was quite easy to follow. All meals were served in the restaurant, although you could pay extra at the bars for snacks. The food was good with a wide selection. I was a bit surprised that there were no ice creams around the pool bar. Pool was an adequate size but we did struggle to get a sunbed one day, maybe the hotel could provide more sun beds on the level below where there were tables and chairs? Take your own beach towels as these are not provided. Rooms were nicely decorated, very clean, modern and quite spacious as we had a triple room. Nice balcony overlooking a quiet road. No traffic noise apart from the bins being emptied one day so we all slept well. Bathroom had a good powerful hairdryer, shampoo and body wash provided. Would have liked a mirror above the dressing table. There is also a handy fridge, although no kettle. Location is fab, 2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of shops nearby. The town itself is gorgeous, lots of lovely restaurants and shops/bars. I feel I have stayed in better 4 star all inclusive hotels before but for the price we paid we were really happy! Would’ve appreciated some water in our room or at reception due to a late arrival (there is a vending machine. it was broken). I also think that the AI could’ve been explained/advertised better As it didn’t match what was advertised on the room cards or what we were told at check in. Just some minor improvements to suggest but we had a great weekend, would recommend!

To our delight, all documents were well prepared, and we received a room facing the street on the 3rd of up to 5 floors. There are several elevators, so it was not difficult to reach everything with the luggage. Our friendly room was sufficiently large and cleanly laid out with laminate flooring. There was a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. In the room itself, everything necessary was available: Desk, underneath a refrigerator, 1 chair, 1 wardrobe more like a shelf, safe, large sofa, no luggage rack. The modern TV was not easy to operate (menu in Spanish), a written instruction manual in German would be appropriate here. We slept well in the double beds, even though it was often very loud on the street; the soundproof windows helped keep the noise to a minimum. The blackout curtains were also good. The air conditioning always worked perfectly (it automatically turns off when the windows are open). We had no problems with the Wi-Fi. The bathroom with the nice shower area was somewhat in line with our expectations, but for this category, it lacked cosmetic mirrors, hygiene bags, and tissues. In the large restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed both the breakfast buffet with its wide selection and delicious quality, as well as the daily changing dinner buffets. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The pool area on the upper floor is accessible via escalators or an elevator. Unfortunately, we found the pool area far too small for such a large hotel. It was a daily struggle to secure lounge chairs. This left only the approximately 300-meter walk to the public free beach; however, there, one had to rent lounge chairs and umbrellas at not exactly affordable daily rates. Just so: The parking for one's own car is not exactly affordable, at city prices (over 26 euros per day!). Overall, we rate it very well.

Great experience! We spent 8 days here, a family of four. Specious superior room with balcony, nicely decorated. Modern and spacious bathroom. Clean and comfortable rooms. Half board service with a variety of food choice. The staff is very polite and customer oriented. The pool area is on the top of the hotel, reachable by elevator or escalator.
