Evenia Olympic Suites

This hotel was great, rooms are very spacious, modern & very clean. Location is really good, you can walk into the town in about 15 minutes which we did often, we ate a few little nice restaurants in the town, in the back alleys. Would recommend visiting santa clotilde for some great pictures and its nice to look at. Staff are friendly and the kids evening entertainment was good. Didn’t see much of kids entertainment in the day but we did go in May so it might not have been on Food was good, you can get chicken, tuna etc grilled for you by the chef. The pool for kids was great and they also had indoor swimming pool. Snack bar was was really good, burgers, nuggets, pizza etc & you can get chocolate milk, apple juice etc for kids. And NO running for sunbeds, the resort is huge so there was plenty We got the bus into Barcelona for the day and went on sight seeing bus, that cost about €150 all in. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely go again 🙂

Im currently here whilst writing this.. Second time coming here. Since last year the sunbeds have gotten worse! Its 730am and ive just woken up to put towels out and every single bed by main pool has been taken. Not joking every one. People are obviously leaving them out the night before which was never allowed and now is? Either risk leaving your towel out night before or never get a lie in. Theres now loads of disabled lounger spots which is great for them to be right at the front, but not so great because obviously you cant see there.. Food is horrible as ever. Cafe P'dePA over the street is worth going to, lovely fresh food. Smash bros in town is also good. (Doesn't look it) but it is.. go right into the centre on lloret de mar its so beautiful (not the strip the actual town) rooms same as before clean but paper thin walls. Dont try and sleep before 11pm cause you'll have screaming kids wake you up. Mexican food bar staff are very rude. But everyone else is nice. Will we be back a 3rd time? No.. nothing has changed in a year accept the lounger hogging has gotten so much worse. I give up trying to get a lounger in a decent spot! If you've gotten this far well done. My last comment is dont bother having manners the guests are the rudest people ive ever met. Just push through dont say sorry or thank you and you'll be fine 😄

Just back from a week an Evenia suites Check in - really easy and staff friendly. Room - pool view and was huge. There were three of us. Cleaned daily and fresh towels. Very impressed by standard of cleanliness Swimming pool- we used middle one - unless your down before 7am you cant get an umberella. 9am you will not get a bed. They do put signs on them to manage though. Just really early for an umberella. Pool bar is great however I don’t agree with people walking about with alcohol in pool unless seated at bar. By 3pm theres alcoholic drinks half full lying around the pool l. Should have hourly cleaners out. Cocktails are all pre made and not good. Drinks machines sometimes don’t work and are not the best. Overall quality of drinks of AI is poor. Food - plenty of salad choices. No kids corner. Food is always cold. Unsure why though. We had to ise microwave every night. Hot choices mainly the same and quality low. Snack bar again not great. Worst foot we have had at an AI Resort - nice. Very clean. Loads of shops etc but by 11pm its full of teenagers Animation - loads to do for kids but none of them speak great English and when its full of Spanish they only talk that. I did say to them about it and she told me they speak little English. Find this wierd when they all work in this industry. Also when something starts at 10.15 they still take names 30 minutes later and reduce turns etc. there were also older kids playing 12-15 and then in the adults so reducing kids chances. Overall rating 5/10. Kids club was good but wouldn’t leave my child alone as there isn’t any securitt measuures. Anyone can come and go through an open gate Smoking - they all you to smoke around the pool - first hotel we have been to like this and very annoying for non smokers We would return but to Lloret but not on AI
