Golden Bahia de Tossa

Great hotel for lots of reasons. 1. Location is great - Tossa de Mar is stunning. 10minute walk to beach. Also located near bus station that allowed us to visit Girona and Barcelona. 2. Pools are great. Love that sunbeds were available whenever we went down to pool. Their sunbed rule obviously works. 3. Food was really good. We booked bed and breakfast but on a couple of occasions we went to the hotel buffet restaurant. 4. Activities were great for kids. My 11 and 6 year old got involved in lots of the games. There are quite a few games for adults too but we didn’t participate. 5. The animation team were fantastic. 6. Hotel was clean and smelled lovely! 7. Water stations are a game changer! We took our big Stanley cups and filled them up prior to going to pool or beach. 8. Night time entertainment was great for us. 9. Can’t speak for all rooms, but we did get decent sleeps and not particularly noisy after 11pm. 10. Most people we spoke to at the hotel had been before and I think that speaks volumes! This hotel is honestly amazing. Got back a week ago from our second holiday there and cannot fault it. Looking to book again for next year. It is modern, beautifully clean, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the pools are great. The rooms are spotless and fresh. And even though we had a road side view, the hotel is situated in a friendly neighbourhood area with lovely Mountain views. There is a free safe, rooms are cleaned daily and large balcony. The restaurant is one of the highlights, great service and the food is amazing. Best all inclusive buffet we have ever had. The hotel and surrounding area feel very safe. Lovely old town a ten minute walk away and some great shops and restaurants 5 minutes along the road. There is also a really nice supermarket a 3-4 minute walk away called Escalat where we bought lunch stuff each day as we were half board, nice size fridge in rooms. The Tui rep Spike is a credit to Tui, and very knowledgeable and friendly. All in all a great holiday and we cannot wait to return.

One of best hotels we have stayed at .Food good choice everyday and good quality. Hotel very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Love the fact you can't reserve sunbeds between 8 and 10am. Every hotel should do the same. Will definitely return.
