Illa Mar d'Or

This complex is a hidden gem - no more than 5 minutes walk to the beach and less than that to the main supermarket - yet tucked away in a quiet area of town. The standard of the apartments is high with a lovely private pool to dip in (on the cold side). We’d definitely recommend for those looking for a relaxing family holiday within walking distance of the beach and quaint town centre (15 kin walk). For those with a car it is an ideal base to explore the Northern Costa Brava - Girona, Pals, Rosas etc all within a short driving distance.

We rented a penthouse from Kings Property Management and it was amazing. Second time we have stayed here,cannot fault the place,clean and tidy,pool is great for the kids. Penthouse has everything you could possibly need for your stay. One thing bugged us, the people in the one next door sounded as though they were dragging the chairs across the floor,they did this day and night! Very annoying.

We had a reservation in this apartment and, when we called to confirm a week before, the owner acted like he didn't know about it and said it was already taken by someone who was staying for longer. He was absolutely rude and didn't care about our situation nor tried to help find a solution. It was a horrible experience. Do not trust these people.
