I would not recommend staying at Montevista Blue Hawaii Hotel in Lloret de Mar. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had and it certainly didn’t feel like a 3-star hotel. The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were unacceptable. Our bed had stains on it that were never changed throughout our stay, and the towels provided were dirty and stained. The room had dirty marks on the walls and ceiling, rust in the bathroom on the ceiling, bath and sink, rusted radiators, damaged flooring, and there wasn’t even a plug stopper for the bath. The toilet also wasn’t properly secured to the floor and wobbled every time it was used, which felt unsafe. Our hotel view was also of a wall and a few trees- we asked to move to a better room and got told they were full capacity and to check back the next morning. We were also majorly disappointed with the staff. The bar staff were unfriendly (apart from 1 receptionist when we first arrived and 1 staff member serving the drinks in the dining-room) as well unapproachable. Housekeeping removed our reusable cup from the room and refused to provide a replacement, even though it was clearly taken during cleaning. We had paid a €1 deposit for the cup at the start of our holiday and did receive the deposit back when the cup was returned at the end of the trip, but that didn’t help while we were staying there as I was without a cup replacement for a full evening. When we explained this to reception, we simply got a shrug of the shoulders and told to pay another euro for the cup. We refused as we had already paid for the cup deposit and didn’t see sense to pay another. This then meant we couldn’t make full use of the all-inclusive package we’d paid for for an entire lunch time/evening. The food was repetitive, with virtually the same buffet every night, and the drinks selection was extremely limited. The all-inclusive package offered very little choice and wasn’t good value for money. The room itself was uncomfortable due to an extremely noisy air conditioning unit, and the walls were so thin that we could hear conversations in neighbouring rooms and people constantly walking along the corridor. Overall, this hotel felt more like a budget hostel than a 3-star hotel. I would not recommend staying here, as it fell far below the standard advertised and was poor value for money.

BLUESEA Montevista Hawaii real review please read! I was very worried about going but we had a great 4 nights away. With the reviews I read I was really worried however the food was nice whilst repetitive always something for everyone fresh salad daily and plenty of choice. Yes the pool is small for the size of hotel (we were in the top hotel) but after breakfast we just queued for around 15 mins to get a sun bed and managed to get one every day. They opened the gates around 9.45am There was a large group of schools kids who did take over the full pool (around 50 of them) but by lunch they had gone and were all having fun and no issues with them Rooms very basic and quite small but everything you needed and hair dryer in bathroom with nice balcony Rooms cleaned every day with new bedding and towels Staff helpful when needed but you have to be out the pool for 7pm or they will be shot you out Pool bar nice drinks really good vodka very strong and don’t forgot the whisky and slush they are defo worth a try but don’t drink too many 😂 Walk down to the beach down a hill and some beautiful places to eat and drink 🍸 1 euro for a cup isn’t an issue as you get it back at the end of the day Lovely few days away and the weather was amazing as well so for a long weekend away for what we paid this was defo a lovely holiday 🇪🇸🍻🍺🍸🍹and I would definitely return

The absolute worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. Staff were so horrible and rude as soon as we got there. Were shouting at us for laughing in the lobby before we’d even checked in. They then followed us outside whilst we were waiting for a taxi and started screaming at us once again. The same night whilst we were about to go to sleep they threw us out of the hotel for no reason at all and claimed we were abusive to staff when we didn’t even speak to them besides the rude staff at check in. We paid for 5 nights all inclusive didn’t even make it through the first night. And didn’t receive any money back. We’re treated absolutely disgustingly
