Vent de Garbi

Great location, easy to find. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean, with a large bathroom with corner jacuzzi bath, and separate shower cubicle. It was missing a few kitchenware items, like proper wine glasses and a corkscrew, but apart from that, it was fine. The lady on reception was very helpful, professional and spoke very good English. She couldn't do enough to make our stay an enjoyable experience. It had the added bonus of private secure underground parking, at an extra charge, which we were happy to pay. We would definitely stay here again. The only other slight issue was, you have to pay an extra €20 for the end of stay clean, which I object to. You don't have to do this in an hotel, it's included in the price.

We stayed for 11 nights. We arrived early, having driven from England, but was told that our room was ready and we could book straight in. The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. Unfortunately the swimming pool filter wasn't working but was fixed within one day. Our toaster did not work, but the very friendly receptionist went out and brought us a brand new one. They couldn't be more helped and accommodating. Only thing which wasn't 100% was that the mattress was very hard. The location was great, lots of restaurants, bars and shops to suit everyone. Would definitely go back :)

Vent de garbi is brilliant for the money you pay. Very close to the beach and right next to a bike rental place who are very cheap, especially prices for the whole week, e would highly recommend cycling around during your stay in Empuria and visit cala Montgo and Roses :-) The apartment was spacious, super clean and had all the kitchen utensils you would need for a short break.
