Silken Park San Jorge

As a result of the fire in the cabanyas of Calonge we left our house for safety and went to the hotel. We were very good and warm welcomed! We immideatly received keys for a great room and we didn’t have to pay for breakfast and parking. What a perfect hotel! Geeat people! Thanks a lot!! It brought rest in a stressfull situation!

We have spent 7 days on vacation, and overall, the experience has been very good. The best part of the hotel, without a doubt, is its location and the sea views. Our room, Belladona, had wonderful views and was very cool, just like the rest of the hotel, which was greatly appreciated because it was quite hot outside. It has been a perfect place to relax while contemplating the sea. During our stay, we dined almost every day at the La Mar restaurant, and we found the food to be very good. We also had lunch and dinner on several occasions at the tapas bar, where the quality was acceptable. However, there is one aspect that we believe the hotel should improve: the dining service. There is a clear lack of staff and organization. On the first day, at the tapas bar, the service was very slow and unprofessional, to the point that an employee suggested we go to the reception to file a complaint. At the breakfast buffet, almost every day there were missing plates, glasses, cups, or food that needed to be replenished. We had to continuously notify the staff and wait for them to bring what was missing. We understand and appreciate that the hotel provides opportunities for young people who are just starting out, but an establishment of this category, during peak season, cannot afford these types of deficiencies. It is necessary to have more supervision and staff with greater experience to ensure a service that matches the hotel's level. Our feeling is that there is room for improvement in customer service. It is a shame because both the location and the facilities and the rooms deserve an excellent rating. If they strengthened the dining service, the experience would be practically perfect.

Very nice hotel, the location is magnificent, the dining is very good, however, a downside in the half board. No drinks are included in the evening. Even water, the hotel parking is paid. Impossible not to take it because there is no parking space available nearby.
