Hotel Spa Vilamont

Situated in the quiet village of Garriguella near the church. Nice family feel with lovely friendly owner. Spa is an extra cost but you can use it till mid evening but can recommend a massage which was great. Nice variety of typically Catalan breakfast selections. Beds very comfortable. Easy to walk to local restaurants, local vineyard for wine tasting and small supermarket locally too. We went out of high season so very quiet in the village. Easy drive to Figueres, Peralada etc.

Lovely hotel in the village of Garriguella. Nice room with tv, airco and very good Wi-Fi. Excellent breakfast. Small library, newspapers. A good location for walkers. Garriguella is a very nice village with a few bars and restaurants and a tiny village shop.

Very friendly owner/operator who is happy to help in any way. For us this was the first and last stop on our hike of the Catalan area. The owner was kind enough to book a pedicure for the return night in the spa housed in the hotel. There was an amazing breakfast with made to order bacon, eggs, and coffee. Buffet yoghurts and lots of fresh fruits, local cheeses, cakes, and breads. Attention to detail is obvious. The rooms had a lovely bathroom, shower, and comforter bed. Room was as well decorated but small in size. Linens, towels and provided robe was nicer than most places we stayed. The wifi did not have a strong signal in the room. Best to be closer to the office area. We did not use the indoor pool or hot tub but it did look nice.
