Apartamentos Rio Piedras

Had a great week at the Rio Piedras. The location is great. It’s close to the beach, bars, shops and harbour. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, from checking in at reception to checking out. A special mention to Luis Arroyo who provided assistance and responded quickly to information requests even before arrival. We stayed in a lovely one bedroom apartment with sea view and large balcony. We couldn’t believe just how big the balcony was! The rooftop pool is spotless and has amazing views. Gustavo and all the staff at the pool bar and restaurant made us feel so welcome and the food was beautiful. We can’t wait to return and are already looking at Christmas 2027.

Great location for beach shops bars and restaurants all within a short walk with very friendly and helpful staff very clean all round including pool and pool area great value for what you pay food in rooftop restaurant also very nice very reasonable price food and drink

We booked an apartment with a large balcony and sea view and ended up on the 9th floor with a stunning view of the sea! The interior is a bit outdated but neat and it is very clean. All rooms now have a walk-in shower and air conditioning in the bedroom. The rooftop pool has been completely renovated with enough beds and parasols. The breakfast is not much, soft, chewy rolls, fried eggs, and scrambled eggs were dried out and the thick slices of bacon didn't look inviting either. I wouldn't book this. Around the corner, less than 50 meters away, there is a supermarket with delicious fresh sandwiches. The Spar is a bit further away, but it is much more expensive. Beach with sunbeds and parasols is also about 50 meters away. There are also several stalls where you can eat a simple lunch cheaply. The center is a bit further away at about 1.5 km, but there are plenty of taxis. We had rented a car from Tui for 6 days from the airport. At the complex you can park for free on the street.
