Palm Oasis Maspalomas

We're in to our last couple of days of a one week stay at Palm Oasis and felt compelled to write a more balanced review having seen all the 5 star recent reviews Firstly the staff are great, they are very attentive and maintain professionalism and great service at all times. The hotel grounds and rooms are kept very clean and maintained well. Food is ok, not great but buffet style half board is what it is. There is almost no evening entertainment. The magic show we attended was one of the worst shows I've witnessed - they'd have been better with zero entertainment all week. The act tried but it was quite poor and many people left part way through. Finally the main reason for the poor rating. In the final few nights a new neighbour moved in upstairs. This resulted in dragging furniture around, banging and shouting on the balcony until almost 4am each night. We rang reception who apparently asked them to stop which only seemed to make it worse. Unfortunately the reservation team were unwilling to move us so we could get some sleep so we ended up stuck with the situation We aimed to come back from here relaxed and better rested. I'm sorry to say we're leaving absolutely exhausted including our two kids. For anyone reading this I'd suggest a top floor apartment if possible or one of the 2 storey villas at the back as the floor noises really travel and make it near impossible to sleep if you get an inconsiderate neighbour above.

We had a fantastic week at the Palm Oasis in one of 2 bedrooms suites. The welcome on arrival from Jose Manuel was perfect, he was very helpful and welcoming. The suite was huge, well maintained and had everything you needed, and spotlessly clean. The two bedrooms were huge both with ensuites. A huge balcony with sauna and Jacuzzi, plus a table and chairs and 2 very comfortable sun loungers. The air con was good, not crazily cold but comfortable and the bedrooms both had ceiling fans as well. The pools were fantastic, never too busy and it was very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The outside areas and gardens again are all well maintained. The pool bar was reasonable the food was good. I couldn't fault it at all. And the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience at Palm Oasis Maspalomas. I stayed here with a friend, and we had an amazing time. The solarium was absolutely spectacular, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The atmosphere throughout the resort was friendly, peaceful, and welcoming. The facilities were well maintained, and everything was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Palm Oasis Maspalomas to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. We would happily come back again.
