Axelbeach Maspalomas Adult Only

I stayed at this hotel for a solo relaxation getaway. I really appreciated that they assigned me a quiet room (away from the pool area), just as I had requested, and I was also given a room upgrade. The room is spacious, features a lovely terrace, and includes a small kitchenette, which can be useful in certain situations. As for the amenities, it comes with bathrobes and slippers, but my room did not have bathroom cups (preferably disposable plastic ones for hygiene), nor did I see any option to request items such as toothbrushes, combs, or other toiletries, as is common in hotels of this category and price range. Overall, the room was clean, although the condition of the sofa was quite poor (Room 119). It gave a very bad impression in terms of maintenance and cleanliness, and I never felt comfortable enough to sit on it. The pool area is excellent, and the breakfast is varied and of good quality. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., which is a great schedule for a leisure-oriented hotel. As a suggestion for improvement, I don't feel that this hotel has the same Axel identity as others in the brand, having previously stayed at the Axel hotels in Madrid and Barcelona. I believe the company should work more on standardizing the experience across its properties. Finally, the staff are very friendly, especially those working at the Sky Bar, pool area, and breakfast service. Despite being a relatively small team, they managed everything efficiently and provided quick, attentive service.

Guys guys guys . Regular visitor here , sometimes three times a year, and yet you always find ways to surprise me , sometimes like this time, not for the better . When you have refurb/improvement works that means some of your facilities are shut down would it be too much to ask to have a warning prior ?, just a thought. I even always book through your site which would make it really easy to be notified so if deemed i can make changes to the time of the booking. Possibly enjoying one of my last visits now, it's been a good run , mostly, but it's time to move on. All the best.
