Valentin Marieta Aparthotel

Had an amazing time at the Bluesea Marieta. Location was perfect, right next to beach with an amazing view. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Hotel was very neat and tidy. Entertainment was brilliant. Food was lovely. Rooms were really nice, air conditioned rooms which were perfect. Atmosphere was really chilled and relaxed, loved it. It was extremely quiet. Overall a brilliant hotel and will be going back again

Location of the hotel to shops bars and restaurants was great within 5 minutes of the hotel, the food and the staff at the hotel was fantastic, the rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable, this was our second stay at this hotel, we went there last year and had a brilliant experience so we came for a second visit, would definitely recommend it

On arrival guy on reception was not the most welcoming… was stood there a few minutes before he acknowledged us… Hotel on the pictures looked great, in reality they are tired and not finished to a great standard, could be so much better. Cleaning, attention to detail is missing, mildew in the grout of the tiles is off the scale, sunbeds and umbrellas are also mouldy or broken. Rooms- window in the bathroom does not block out light and with only a frosted glass door to the bathroom this projects light into the room when trying to sleep. Plus the outside light is on all night and the curtains don’t block it out Food- at first thought this was “OK” plenty of choice at first but after several days this was the same! Other 4 star hotels have speciality restaurants but nothing here. Pool towels you pay a deposit of €10 each and €2 euro per change if you want fresh. Drinks around the pool areas are in plastic cups that require a €1 deposit Pool bars close at 6pm and no rooftop bar after 6 this could be a really nice space for a chilled evening. Evening entertainment was in a word, horrendous, the worst I’ve ever seen. No waiter service, staff clearly do not like the English. If you like cockroaches you are in for a treat. No information given on what’s available in the hotel. Asked for a late checkout due to a late flight and could only have for an additional 2 hours at a cost, the hotel clearly not full as lots of sunbeds available The positive was no sunbed wars but to be fair the majority were broken or mouldy. Another positive- location 2 min walk to the beach, and within walking distance to 3 shopping centres. Will not be returning
