Arimar

I had booked this for my Mams 60 th birthday only to turn up and be told they had no rooms. They provided alternative accommodation which you wouldn't house an animal! I was 6 months pregnant and they put us up in a mountain with a room facing a rock. They put my parents in what can only be described as a dungeon! I checked out via the agent as I couldn't get through to an actual person. I lost €500 as I was only refunded 240 even though I Never stayed there. My family holiday was ruined. Horrible manager and staff were of no help whatsoever!

We arrived on 31 December for a 7 night stay. After a very rocky start arriving to a note taped to the door of the closed reception (at 1pm) telling us we had to go to apartments in Playa del Inglis to ollect our key.. yeah sure a 30 minute taxi ride each way with luggage on the one day of the year a taxi fares are more expensive! Luckily there was a manager of another apt block around who swiftly got on the phone and gave someone hell.. ever grateful to her for doing this and staying until a guy showed up with our key. We had apt number 38.. now when booking through Alpha Rooms they only have 6 of the apts available..they are all privately owned so it is a hit or miss what you get. Apt 38 was very comfy with microwave, hob, kettle, toaster etc. Cleaning was virtually non existent.. we had to ask for clean towels.. bedding got changed 1 day before we came home and we had to buy our own toilet paper. Handy for the centre.. 200ish steps but a nice wee talk during the day.. we always got a taxi back at might.. 3 euros up. Our balcony and nice clean pool area was a suntrap. If the cleaning probs could be ironed out and we were guaranteed apt 38 i would go back.

Meant to stay in Arimar and we were put in the Cunamar, both terrible apartments with horrific noise after midnight from the main centre....which seemed to peek by 3am and stopped at 4.30am!! Nightmare
