Cala d'Or

We stayed in the cala dor apartments for the last 2 weeks, hotel was spotless, staff were great very friendly. The downside was that there was no laundry service or air con in the room you could only rent a fan at reception. Which was badly needed especially at night. The poolside bar was overpriced. The poolside entertainment was fantastic CEDRIC was absolutely fantastic with kids and adults, the man should get a pay rise. Elaine and Richie Campion

Arrived back home yesterday. Rooms are cleaned, but had to ask for clean bed sheets and pillow case, reception staff stated they would contact the house keeping. Spoke to house keeping and after 7th day sheets would be changed. Location very noisy, can hear the noise from the bars at the main shopping centre which goes on to 3/4 am. ROOM HAVE COCKROACH 🪳 IN THEM FOUND 3. and one in the bathroom all in the same day. Went to reception said that room will be cleaned, but they couldn't care less. Another day past found more in living room and in bedroom, constantly checking the rooms.

I stayed at this property for 5 nights in April 2026. I was very satisfied with the apartment (very modern and well-equipped, with a kitchenette and living room, bedroom, and large bathroom) of ample size. I had requested if it was possible to stay on the upper floors, and they accommodated me by placing me on the top floor!!! Both the reception guy and Cedric the entertainer were very helpful, bringing a smile to our faces even when there was a storm outside. If I were to return to the south of the island, I would definitely return to these fantastic apartments! They have everything you might need nearby; right inside the hotel, there is even a mini supermarket with drinks and food. The only downside was the 200 steps to reach the hotel (which we once had to climb in a terrible storm, arriving soaked) 😅😂. Regarding the cleaning of the room, it is done approximately every 2 days, and the staff is very skilled. Personally, I did not like that the bath towels (both shower and intimate) smelled strongly of chlorine, even when they were changed; all had the same odor; and that the warmest blue blanket in the closet was full of hair from other guests who had stayed before. As soon as I requested a new blanket, it was brought to my room immediately. Excellent service and beautiful apartments. I would definitely return!
