Melia Tamarindos

This was our third consecutive stay at Paradisus by Gran Meliá, and once again it didn't disappoint. What keeps us coming back is the consistently warm, genuine hospitality. It's always lovely to see familiar faces, which says a lot about the hotel and the team behind it. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with lovely grounds, excellent facilities, and direct access to a fantastic beach. The buffet offers a great variety of fresh food, and our favourite restaurants were Khanna and MasCalzone. A real highlight this year was watching Spain win the World Cup at the hotel. The atmosphere was brilliant, with a fantastic spread laid on for guests

It was a few weeks ago that we stayed at Gran Canaria Paradisus, and all I can say is that the staff were absolutely amazing. On the 3rd day of our holiday, my husband had an accident and shattered his shoulder while walking to the shop across the street. A lovely family picked him up and took him back to the hotel. The staff at the hotel entrance were right there to assist my husband and make him feel comfortable. After that, they did everything to make me feel safe and cared for in my husband's absence. He was in the hospital for a week and had surgery; when he returned to the hotel, the staff were so caring and accommodating. We truly felt at home in this hotel, Paradisus. I would like to name everyone, but sadly I don't know everyone's name, so these are the names I do know: Ludivico, Raul, Nestor, Christian, Marion, and Victoria in Concierge. Jose and Abrihim in Ginger. Basicolo, Alessio, and Itsia in the restaurants. Maria and the others doing the mini bar. The people at reception. Marvalys at the reserve. Consider everyone graciously thanked. I do apologize for not knowing everyone's names, as it was quite chaotic when we left. We love you all and can't wait to return. Terri
