Sunshine

We stayed here for a week as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) one child with additional needs. It was my first time staying here as usually I stay in hotels so was a bit nervous. Before we arrived the host was so helpful we had an early flight check in isn’t until 5pm I asked for early check in and was informed if the villa was free I could check in early with no additional cost which was great travelling with the kids. When we arrived the fridge was full of cold drinks and there was taytos and wine which was a lovely gesture. The villa was spotless and the pool was heated shallow at the top and small bit deep at the bottom. If you needed anything as soon as you text the host she would reply instantly and if you had any problems they would be resolved within minutes. I will definitely be back again in the future this will be my go to in Puerto Rico. 5mins walk down the steps to a supermarket and pubs and restaurants (dirty nellys, taj palace, hyperdino etc.. 10 mins walk down to the marina (Puerto Rico beach) and about 15 mins walk to the commercial centre.

Second time here. Had such a lovely experience two years ago decided to rebook. The villas are lovely and in a fantastic location. However two days into our holiday, 10 people checked into the villas next door. They were rude, played their music so loud that it could be heard from the path below the villas, and would not respond to polite requests to turn it down. Our pool was then basically unusable due to the constant stink of weed they smoked continually despite having a small infant running around, and they also threatened and intimidated our teenage daughter when we nipped our and she was by the pool by herself. Asking for help from the management made things worse. Felt helpless and just wanted to come home with days to go. So beware as there's little support if you get inconsiderate neighbours next to you. Will never go back, sadly

We have just returned from a wonderful 6 night stay in Sunshine Beach villas. As we only booked less than a week in advance we were lucky to get a great deal, perhaps it was a cancellation as it’s hard to see how this place wouldn’t be in constant high demand. As a family with 3 kids (2 teenagers) this has been our favourite villa to stay in. The location is hard to beat, it feels private, yet within 1 min walk of a convenience shop, a pub & an array of lovely restaurants (Mama Chef was our favorite) & less than 10 mins to Puerto Rico beach & shops. Also walkable to the airport bus stop & Mogan Mall (20 min). The villa is bright, spacious, well equipped & very clean. The host let us in early at 3pm when we let them know we’d arrived which was very welcome after an early start to our day. There were some welcome treats for us, drinks & crisps so we didn’t need to rush to the shop. The downstairs double room is lovely with an extra large bed which is a real treat (mattress prob a bit too hard for our liking but that’s a preference). Lovely bathrooms & seating areas outside. The pool is small, lovely to have if lounging in the villa which we did a lot of. Kitchen chairs were a bit wobbly but we ate out each night so didn’t need them! The kitchen was well stocked & even had my favourite coffee maker (2 options there). Decent beach towels & shower towels. Lots of cats hanging around so need to keep the door closed at times as they like to visit! I hope to return here as it was ideal for us & we really enjoyed our time there ☀️ . Thank you!
