Cortijo del Marques

It is impossible to recommend this Cortijo highly enough. Harder still to thank Silvia, Eilko, their family and the incredible team enough for the most wonderful and truly spoiling week! We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable with excellent recommendations and advice and our every possible want catered for in the most generous way. The Cortijo itself is spectacular, with soul and charm in abundance set in the most astonishing landscape. Breakfast each morning a feast of spoiling delights with the most DELICIOUS dinners. Such thoughtful and exciting menus, with an exceptionally good wine list and recommendations each night. We were lucky enough to stay in the Mirador room with breathtaking views. The sights and sounds of the beautiful birds each morning and evening was something we shall never forget. It is a truly special place made particularly so by the incredible and kind people. We believe it IS the nicest hotel in the world! Gracias gracias gracias Cortijo de Marques!

We visited this hotel for the second time in July/ August 2025. We first visited in 2019. We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys. It was just as lovely as the first time and maybe even better. Just very chilled. Lovely food and a relaxed dining atmosphere. We would definitely think about returning again. It’s really lovely and very relaxing.

A haven of peace and tranquility among a sea of olive trees. The architectural complex exudes history and the service and attention from the hosts, Elko and Silvia, and all the staff, is 5-star luxury. We will recommend it to all our travel agency clients and we will also return, God willing. Thank you very much for everything. We are very glad to have discovered this hidden gem. We have been very comfortable. A big hug to everyone. Fernando Rodríguez Lara
